Company History

Siegner and Company is truly a family business that now spans two generations. Dave Siegner has been in the painting business in Portland, Oregon for more than 40 years. Dave began his painting career as an apprentice working through the ranks to become a superintendant. Dave and his wife Maureen, launched Siegner and Company Commercial Painting Contractors in May, 1991. Today, the Portland, Oregon based painting company is owned by Dave and Maureen’s daughter Meghan Siegner Sullivan and son, Ian Siegner. Learning from the success of their parents in the painting business, Meghan and Ian continue the legacy of superior customer satisfaction and excellent craftsmanship. In addition, their focus on innovation and maximum use of new technology positions Siegner and Company to progressively plan for the future.

The commercial painting company specializes in all facets of commercial painting and decorating, and is widely regarded as one of the region’s largest coatings contractors.

The owners and management staff of Siegner and Company are dedicated to enhancing the professionalism of the entire painting industry. Dave Siegner has served as the National president of the Painting and Decorating Contractors of America (PDCA) as well as in all officer positions of the PDCA Portland Chapter and the PDCA Oregon Council. He is an active participant in both local and national projects to improve the professionalism of the painting industry through training and education.
Meghan Siegner Sullivan is a former PDCA Portland Chapter President and has served in all officer positions including twice as Executive Advisor to the Board. Ian Siegner has been active in PDCA’s Commercial Forum, a national group of PDCA members who focus on education and training for commercial painting contractors. Ian Siegner has also contributed to PDCA Portland Chapter as President, Vice President, Secretary-Treasurer and Committee Chair for numerous member events.
